Tyler Dupree has joined Wigan Warriors on a permanent deal after the club accepted a club-record transfer fee.

The 23-year-old will link-up with his new teammates immediately.

After his move from Betfred Championship side, Widnes Vikings, midway through the 2022 season, the prop has developed immensely under the tutelage of Paul Rowley.

He has made 35 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring three tries. Tyler also secured his first cap for the England men’s senior team, making his debut against France earlier this year.

Director of Rugby & Operations, Ian Blease, has said: “Since joining the club, Tyler’s progression as a rugby player has been outstanding.

“To see him pull on an England shirt was a proud moment for myself, the coaching staff and all his teammates.

“I would like to thank Tyler for all his efforts as a Red Devil and wish him the best in his future career!”
